Aquatint in the mezzotint manner 11 – 12 April 2026

Ali Yanya teaching

Ali Yanya is back in Southampton in April to run a Mezzotint course (with a difference) for me. This time the course will be ‘Aquatint in the mezzotint manner’. Working with aquatinted zinc plates, this technique is as enjoyable as working on a copper mezzotint plate, but a lot easier to create.

The course will be a combination of demonstrations by Ali of using burnishers and other tools to create a Mezzotint image the course also includes mezzotint plate inking and printing.

This course is currently fully booked, if you’d like to be added to the waiting list, contact me via the Contact page
