Description
This original, handmade print was made by me in my studio in Southampton. It is one of an edition of 10, meaning that there will only be 10 printed. Fabrication (Yellow), which you can also see here is a further edition from the same etching plate in a different colourway. This image was inspired by ‘tools of the trade’ my ongoing interest in tools and materials that are used in various lines of work. The objects shown in this etching were collected from the welding workshop at the back of my studio.
This etching is printed using the Viscosity method of printing, this takes about an hour to ink up for each print. These prints are signed by me and printed onto high quality, handmade, cotton rich Somerset printing paper.
