This Drypoint print is part of a suite of prints I’m currently making based around sketches I made on a recent visit to the Farne Islands in Northumberland. I’m drawn to the way that these retired boats have been repurposed and that they have changed from being workhorses on the sea to shelters on land.
Each print takes an hour to ink. This is due to them being inked up in three colours at once, with one pass through the press. These prints are signed by me and printed onto high quality, handmade, cotton rich Somerset satin soft white paper 300gsm
